Blue Lion Legacy is a long-term community initiative supporting children and families in Mahatony through learning, sport, mentoring and shared community experiences.

It began in 2020, just outside the founder’s gate.What started as neighbourhood English classes grew into a wider commitment to help children learn, express themselves, stay active and belong.

Our history

Blue Lion Legacy began during the 2020 pandemic with neighbourhood English lessons, before expanding into sport and creative activities.

Our activities respond to practical community needs while giving children safe, structured spaces to learn, grow and connect with others.

Opportunity through scholarship: selected children join the Blue Lion Football Academy, where they access structured coaching, quality facilities, organised competition and interaction with children from social and international environments they would not otherwise experience.

From a neighbourhood initiative to lasting support

Today, up to 20 children receive scholarships for structured coaching, educational support and access to the wider Blue Lion community.

Major community events bring together children, families and elderly residents through games, tournaments, celebrations and distributions.
